Entries are now open for the 2025 NZ Workplace Health & Safety Awards.

The organisational categories are:

• Safety
• Health
• Wellbeing
• Engagement
• Innovation
• Safety-II
• Collaboration
• Governance
• Leadership

The Governance category definition has changed slightly to make it clearer that entries can relate to initiatives carried out by boards or to initiatives carried out by others to support boards.

The individual categories are:

• Practitioner
• Emerging practitioner
• Representative
• Mental health champion
• Leader
• Lifetime achievement

Of these Individual categories, is there someone senior in your organisation who isn't in a H&S role but who has nevertheless demonstrated leadership in this space? Nominate that person in the Leader category!

Entries must be submitted by Friday 4 April 2025. The awards gala dinner in Auckland is on 17 June at the Viaduct Events Centre.

Now would be a great time to contemplate your most successful initiatives over the last year or so, as well as the people who have made a real difference. Then ... enter them! Simple.
