Hi all, I'm looking into Health and Safety management systems for a client and would like to get some feedback on the many options out there. Without giving away the compnay, here is some info/requirements.
The company has a wide selection of jobs, 90% on site, 10% at the depot/yard; ranging from single day to multiple months. The work invloves heavy machinery, and often includes notifiable works (confined spaces, working at height, etc). They would like a software package that can handle the SSSPs, JSEAs, Inductions, sub- contractor management, asset and equipment management, and documentation (pre-starts, toolboxs, EHS audits, etc). Currently, they are using the Bware system, but find some UI issues meaning the teams on site have reverted back to paper and uploading a photo to the system.
So far, ThinkSafe is looking like a strong candidate. What other options have you seen / used and whats your thoughts on them?
Another option for consideration is SiteDocs. Phone based app or web app, quite easy to use and a good support service. Quite a few NZ companies are using SiteDocs.
“If it’s helpful James, I can provide you with a quick overview and demo of our HSMS which ticks most of your stated requirements. It would give you a good benchmark of what’s available in the market. Give me a call on 021 0893 9854 regards Dom
