The Safeguard Forum in its current form will shut down later this week. Thank you to everyone who has participated in the discussions over the last several years.

We plan to use the Forum software in an experiment to test its suitability to publish Safeguard content.
As part of this trial we will test a different way of enabling the existing Forum’s key function: allowing people to explain a health & safety issue they are facing and to ask the brains trust for suggestions.

But the main role of the Forum software will be to host stories from Safeguard magazine and Safeguard Update newsletter. If the trial – likely to last two months – is successful we will then launch it as a paid subscription service offering Safeguard content online to complement the printed magazine.

As a Forum member you will receive an email in the next few weeks to invite you to take part in a free trial of this new publishing process.
