Safeguard's annual H&S income survey is now open.

It is for New Zealand-based people who are:
    • H&S practitioners
    • Occupational health nurses
    • Occupational hygienists
    • Hazardous substances specialists

The results will appear in the Sept/Oct edition of Safeguard and are always closely studied by everyone, including potential employers – so please take part, as the more respondents the more accurate the data.

The survey takes less than 5 minutes and is of course anonymous.

You can do the survey here.

    The survey closes 20 September.

Is it possible to see the results for past surveys if you don't subscribe to Safeguard?

By popular demand, attached is the write-up about last year's income survey, published in the Sept/Oct 2018 edition of Safeguard.

More than 300 people have done the survey so far - have you?

The results of the survey are used by the wider H&S community and by organisations who require H&S-related services, so by all means consider it a public service to do the survey!

A very useful survey to capture good information on salaries. This year there are three additional questions around recruitment and how hard is it to find new H&S staff.

Just a reminder: It would be completely unethical if everyone added 20K to their salaries and then we all took this to our next rem meeting.
